The 2-Per-Mille Run
Organising the largest drunken run in the Czech Republic.
About the project
This event was born in the National Library of Technology during an intense study sesh with Alexandra Kořínková and Erik Liu. The idea came like a revelation from the heavens — all at once, without any prompting, we shouted the words: The 2-Per-Mille Run.
We immediately dropped everything and created a website and a poster for the event. We also contacted Dr. Jakub Kolář to provide medical care (which we knew would be needed).
The race course ran through Stromovka park, and thanks to our sponsors we gathered many prizes, including banana bread.
On 1 July 2025 the racers gathered, drank the precise amount of Zubrówka determined by expert data analysis, and lined up at the start. The shot rang out and the racers set off.
The winners were the duo of Michal Kopecký and Jonáš Machurek.
